My morning routine comprises watering the plants on the windowsill, go out of the room and put the freshly filled water container in the freezer, and open the entrance door. I then came back to my room and wait till the attendant has arrived.  I then go to make the yogurt drink for Abba and myself.

I had a long phone conversation with Shahid Jeffrey who was in the Bay Area.  For the only-meal-of-the day I had two fried eggs, and the vegetable salan, with roti, with tea.  I then had halwa with tea-- it was heavenly.Father’s attendant was taking time off to go to the railway station to receive his wife coming from Punjab.

328 pm.  Sitting in father's sofa in the TV room, waiting for father to leave the dining room--I will then get the ice container from the freezer and lock myself up in my room.  To tackle heat, I put cold cloth on my forehead, neck, torso, and head.  This honking outside my window really disturbs my sleep.    I am curious to know how the market will behave today specially with respect to Toyota motors and General Mills. I am hoping that TM will close slightly below 180 so that I will have another chance of selling the call for a future date.

The weather is hot.  When I go to bed I keep ice in a container by the bedside; I use the ice to put cold wet cloths on my face, behind my neck, my torso and my legs.  This ritual cools me down.  Zoological power plant: talked to Aquil Qureshi for an hour.

Indoor temperature in my room hovers between 87 to 90°F.  There is a war going on between India and Pakistan but I have not seen anything personally.  I see regular hustle and bustle of city life.  I ate a late night dinner with Koshish friends.
