Thursday, May 29, 2025; Karachi to Lahore

858 am We are at gate 11 at the Karachi airport. This window that I have that opens to the street is a source of grief, disturbing me in my sleep. I’m not sure what time I went to sleep last night but it must have been around one in the morning and then my alarm went off at six and I was up. I just stayed in bed for a couple of minutes and I knew that if I stayed too long, I would go back to sleep and we could miss our flight so I left the bed; changed the location of the room camera to far right so that I will be able to see if anyone enters the room. 

1054 am In the plane waiting for the food. Fly Jinnah air hostesses are slow; they don’t know how to work fast. The plane was late; it took off at 1009. We initially sat on the wrong seats. Before that I was mad at a woman trying to cut me in the line reaching our seats in the plane. 

1147 am At the Lahore airport

357 pm I am now sitting at a table in Tuscany courtyard restaurant waiting for the rest of them to join me. I came here after taking a shower at the Airbnb and before that took a little nap which was kind of dangerous because I did not have an alarm set up to wake me. Going back, I reached the Airbnb on a rikshaw, which I got from close to the gate of the Real Cottages. Earlier at the airport, I had a hard time connecting to the Careem application because it was not sure where or which city I was in; but after some time, trying different phones, turning off the phones and then turning them back on, I finally got connected 

613 pm Now at the Packages Mall window-shopping with other four family members.

705 pm we are still in the mall
