Friday, May 30, 2025; Lahore to Karachi

750 am I am here in my bed with the air conditioning on keeping this room at a very nice cool temperature. My iPhone XS is behaving very well. I am pretty sure at this point that the way it theoretically behaves has a lot to do with the temperature. When temperature is high it just not function the way it should function. I’ve been up since about shortly before seven and I thought that it was very late almost close to the checkout time which is 12 noon. I checked time right It was not that late. In fact, it was early. 

Last night, went to the Garden of Blessings graveyard; even though father-in-law was buried less than two months ago there were at least 20 or more fresh graves after his.

9 am I now have my laptop in my lap and trying to do some work. I am planning to get a Careem premium five hour service that my brother recommended; I am planning to do some Lahore sightseeing: the Lahore Fort, the Badshahi mosque, and other places before leaving for the flight. 

1136 am Now at in-Laws'.  I came here with Careem driver Mohammed Arshad. On his suggestion I changed the ride destination from Packages Mall to Real Cottages. And then we negotiated on the fare to keep him for the next 4-5 hours.  He was asking for 2000 per hour but then came down to 7000 total.  I said it was a maximum of 5000 but I was willing to give him 5500.  We settled for 6000.  I felt cheated because I was already being charged over 1100 for the short ride to Real Cottages.  

1242 pm Plans are being made and plants are being changed, continuously. 

512 pm Sitting near Gloria Jeans coffee at the Lahore International Airport. We reached here before 430 pm.  

1123 pm Karachi. Just had another loose motion, after having yogurt with sugar and then some water. I held it fine though the flight and then during the long wait at the Karachi airport and then at home till I ate. We had to wait at the airport for almost an hour and a half hour because the driver left home at 7:49 and then got stuck in traffic at the bridge where there was some repair work going on.  When I reached home was father's attendant was still here; I asked him to leave and he left shortly.
